Auctions allowed at Al Sailiya Central Market with Covid-19 precautionary measures: MoPH

 14 Jan 2021 - 19:02 By Fazeena Saleem | The Peninsula Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced that auctions are now allowed to be held at the Al Sailiya Central Market with COVID-19 precautionary measures. Head of occupational health at MoPH Dr Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Hajjaj said that auctions will be held at the Al Sailiya Central Market within 50% of its capacity. According to him, the Ministry has put together all safety measures for the auction hall to ensure operations runs safe and efficiently. “All vendors at the Al Sailiya Central Market will undergo regular checks to ensure that they follow COVID-19 precautionary measures, including wearing masks, gloves, having body temperature below 37C and have green status in Ehteraz,” he said in a video message posted by the MoPH on its social media accounts.
